Miért éppen görög?
Arra hogy miért érdemes újgörög nyelven megtanulni ezer és egy okunk lehet, ezért csak néhányat emeljünk ki ezek közül.
Először is
Mert azt nyilván mindenki tapasztalta, aki Görögországban járt, a görögök semmitől sem hatódnak meg jobban , mint ha egy külföldi az ő csodálatos anyanyelvükön szólal meg. Attól a pillanattól kezdve már nem turistaként, hanem családtagként, barátként, szívesen látott vendégként kezelik az jövevényt.
Ha valaki a görögök valódi életébe kíván bepillantást nyerni, és nem csupán a turista csalogató kék -fehér -buzukis - zorbás felszínre kiváncsi, akkor elengedhetetlen a személyes beszélgetés, valamint- ugyebár- a görör nyelv ismerete.
Másodszor:
A görög nem csak a heroikus ősidőkben rendelkezett figyelemre méltó kultúrával, hanem a jóval kevesebbet emlegetett középkorban és a jelenben is.
A népzene, a költészet, s a görögök számára oly fontos ortodox egyházi kultúra világa másképpen, mint az élő nyelv ismerete nélkül- megközelíthetetlen.
E művek magyar- vagy akár angol- fordítására várni: reménytelen.
És végül:
A görög nyelv szép. Európa legrégebben élő nyelve, s egyben az egyben az egyik legdallamosabb is: zeneisége a nyelv egészét áthatja, annak egyik legfontosabb alaptörvényét jelenti. Az embert csodálat tölti el , ha látja, mint él, alakul, formálódik ma is ez az évezredek alatt kikovácsolódott nyelv, melyen egykor olyan hangok szólaltak meg, mint Szophoklészé, Homéroszé, vagy Szent Pál Apostolé.

Qualifications and skills • Bachelor's degree. • Native speaker of Greek and good English skills. • Prior experience working in an online environment highly desirable (e-commerce websites in particular). • Demonstrable understanding of modern ethical online marketing techniques, and a willingness to learn new skills. • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills. • Able to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment. • Bachelor's degree.
